Introduction
A 45 degree frameless glass Pyramid rooflight with manual/electric hinged opening or fixed variants. The clarity and longevity of glass ensures fantastic light transmission throughout the life of the building, typically 50% more than plastics over its life cycle. The shape of the Pyramid gives an excellent concentration of light and self cleaning characteristics with a stylish frameless design. Available in square or elongated configurations. Larger dimensions can be supplied as a bespoke glazing project with aluminum glazing bars; a bespoke bi-parting/sliding option is also available.

A rooflight which was again developed to meet the requirements of our clients is the frameless fixed Octagonal glass skylight. The Octagonal Pyramid is an extension to our pyramid range. Also on a 45 degree angle giving the rooflight excellent self cleaning credentials the octagonal pyramid is often chosen as a feature to enhance a building looking for sophisticated shape and light.

 Specifications
The GV standard pyramid is a fixed rooflight constructed of 4 glass facets at a pitch of 45 degrees. Mounted into a thermally broken aluminium cill profile, the double glazed glass units structurally bonded to the cill and to one another at the hips with a triple seal to each unit. An insulated aluminium cap at the apex connects the four sections. An external aluminium thermally broken cill profile is polyester powder coated grey as standard, bespoke colours available.

The Octagonal Pyramid flush glazed glass pyramid is a fixed rooflight constructed of 8 glass facets at a pitch of 45 degrees. Mounted into a thermally broken aluminium cill profile, the double glazed glass units structurally bonded to the cill and to one another at the hips with a triple seal to each unit. An insulated aluminium cap at the apex connects the eight sections. An external aluminium thermally broken cill profile is polyester powder coated grey externally and white internally as standard. Bespoke colours available.

Colour: White RAL9010 matt or RAL7015 matt as standard.
Kerb: To be advised.
Other requirements: Frameless design with glass to glass joints. External glazing surfaces to be flush with no flashings or water ponding obstructions/dirt traps on the glass surface.

Installation
Installation onto prepared roof apertures and upstands is simple, either following our detailed assembly instructions, or opt for our installation service by one of our regional fitting teams. All standard sizes are factory pre-assembled and delivered in one completed unit. On site construction is available for restricted access locations.

Please remember when requesting a quote specify the outside dimensions of the upstand/kerb, you should then make an allowance of approximately 200mm for inside dimensions subject to chosen internal finishes dimension.
